CMT has added 4x Grammy winning Austinite and legendary songwriter, singer, guitarist and producer Gary Clark Jr. for a one-of-a-kind tribute to late Texas blues legend Stevie Ray Vaughan, finalizing colossal roster of star-packed performances and tributes for the the 2023 CMT Music Awards, airing live from Austin, Texas’ Moody Center on Sunday, April 2nd from 8-11 pm ET/PT on the CBS Television Network and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+ with Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown returning as hosts.

Also announced are an all-star presenter lineup featuring some of the biggest names across music, television, sports and entertainment including Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Charles Esten, Dixie D’Amelio, Dustin Lynch, Hardy, Ian Bohen and Jen Landon from Yellowstone, Jon Pardi, LeAnn Rimes, Madison Bailey from Outer Banks, Max Thieriot from Fire Country, Megan Thee Stallion, Noah Schnapp from Stranger Things, Parker McCollum, Peter Frampton, Shania Twain, Steve Howey from True Lies and Travis Kelce.

Previously announced include Alanis Morissette + Ingrid Andress, Lainey Wilson, Madeline Edwards and Morgan Wade, Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Cody Johnson, Gwen Stefani + Carly Pearce, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown + Katelyn Brown, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, The Black Crowes + Darius Rucker, Tyler Hubbard, and Wynonna Judd + Ashley McBryde. Avery Anna, Chapel Hart, Jackson Dean, Lily Rose, Megan Moroney and Nate Smith perform from the Ram Trucks Side Stage.

Billy Gibbons, Chuck Leavell, Cody Johnson, Paul Rodgers, Slash, Warren Haynes, LeAnn Rimes and Wynonna Judd will pay homage to Lynyrd Skynyrd following the recent passing of final original founding member, guitarist Gary Rossington.

Lainey Wilson leads the nominations with four followed by Johnson, Brown and first time nominee Jelly Roll at three apiece. Shania Twain will be awarded the Equal Play Award.

CMT will additionally air CMT Music Awards Extended Cut with an added 30 minutes of new performances and extra bonus content on Thursday, April 6th from 8-11:30 pm ET/PT, in addition to all new programming as part of CMT Music Awards Week.
