Queens of the Stone Age will be releasing their new album …Like Clockwork this June, according to their website. In addition, when you visit the band’s website a portion of one of the album’s songs plays; refresh the page and you’ll hear another.
Dave Grohl will be playing drums — just as he did on the band’s great release Songs for the Deaf from 2002 — and the album will also feature a variety of other guests including Elton John, Jake Shears, Trent Reznor, and former bassist Nick Oliveri.
Last December the band also released a mockumentary of sorts featuring comedian Matt Berry from The IT Crowd on the making of the new album.
And just in case anyone forgets the awesomeness that was QOTSA and Dave Grohl, here’s a clip of them playing a track from Songs for the Deaf.
