Track taken from forthcoming Kid A Mnesia reissue

Radiohead has revealed the new video for their recently released single “If You Say The Word.” The video is directed by Norwegian director Kasper Häggström (Kelly Lee Owens). The track is taken from Radiohead’s upcoming Kid A Mnesia reissue package, set for release on November 5th via XL Recordings.

Kid A Mnesia collects Radiohead’s fourth and fifth albums alongside the debut of a newly compiled third disc titled Kid Amnesiae. Exclusive to this release, Kid Amnesiae is comprised of unearthed material culled from the Kid A/Amnesiac sessions. Along with alternate versions and elements of Kid A and Amnesiac album tracks and B-Sides, Kid Amnesiae features a previously unreleased studio recording of “Follow Me Around.”

The set will be available as a deluxe limited edition 3 LP cream vinyl, half-speed cut on 180-gram with 36-page hardback art book. A limited, numbered edition double cassette, limited to 5,000 copies with 36-page booklet. It’ll also be available as an indie exclusive limited edition red vinyl 3 LP, 3 LP black vinyl, 3 CD, and three volume digital formats.

Additionally, on the November 4th, Canongate will release two art books by Thom Yorke and Stanley Donwood cataloging the visual works created during the Kid A/Amnesiac era. Kid A Mnesia Art Book is a 300-page celebration of the process and artwork created for Kid A and Amnesiac. Fear Stalks the Land! is a black and white paperback in which Yorke and Donwood’s notes, lyrics and sketches are gathered together.

Earlier this week, Christie’s announced that they will be partnering with Thom Yorke and Stanley Donwood to present an auction of artworks by Stanley, created for Radiohead’s album Kid A. The six paintings will be on display at Christie’s Headquarters in London from 9 to 15 October 2021, alongside drawings, lyrics and digital art curated by Stanley and Thom. The paintings will also be offered in an online sale First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art for global bidding from October 5-19, 2021.

The band has also teamed with Sony Playstation’s PlayStation Showcase and Epic Games for Kid A Mnesia Exhibition, an upside-down digital/analog universe created from Thom Yorke and Stanley Donwood’s original artwork and audio design by Nigel Godrich. Published by Epic Games and developed by Name The Machine and Arbitrarily Good Productions, Kid A Mnesia Exhibition will be available to download this November, exclusively on PlayStation 5, and PC and Mac via the Epic Games Store.
