“I Love My Hometown” and “If God Took Days Off” available now

Platinum country star RaeLynn is ready to usher in a new era of music, releasing “I Love My Hometown” and “If God Took Days Off.” The two tracks are right in the pocket of RaeLynn’s signature sound, allowing her to further prove the diversity of her extensive catalogue and showcase her impressive songwriting skills.

A loud and proud down-home celebration, “I Love My Hometown” was written by RaeLynn with Corey Crowder, Brian Kelley and Canaan Smith and produced by Crowder. The groove-worthy track highlights some of RaeLynn’s favorite things about her hometown, like her local football field, the fact that everyone knows everyone and the “roads all filled with trucks.”

“If God Took Days Off” showcases another side of RaeLynn’s sound, with the poignant and pensive track finding the Texas native wondering what her life would be like if God had taken a few days away from arranging things just as they should be. Written by RaeLynn, Taylor Phillips, Ben Stennis and Cole Taylor and produced by Stennis and Crowder, the song is an expression of gratitude for the relationship RaeLynn found through all those tiny twists of fate.

“This music is a continuation of where my heart is,” RaeLynn says. “I will always love singing about my hometown and good ole Jesus! These songs are super special and only the beginning of what’s to come.”

“I Love My Hometown” and “If God Took Days Off” are the first new releases from RaeLynn since her 2021 album Baytown, which recently surpassed 100 million global streams. The tracks are also RaeLynn’s first releases since signing with Jonas Group Entertainment for management, marking a new chapter in her career.

RaeLynn is gearing up to take her new music on the road as support for Kane Brown’s Blessed & Free Tour, which will see her visit Alabama, Georgia, Florida and New Hampshire beginning with a stop in Birmingham on May 19th. In addition to tickets, fans can purchase an exclusive NFT Meet & Greet experience which includes a live acoustic performance, a photo with RaeLynn and an autographed exclusive poster.
