The fall celebration of Texas country music returns this fall to Brownwood, Texas
The City of Brownwood is excited to announce the new music lineup for the second annual Feels Like Home Festival returning Saturday, October 4th to the Brownwood Event Center in Brownwood, Texas.
With an emphasis on preserving classic Texas traditions while uplifting rising country music talent, fans from across the Lone Star State will be treated to a Saturday performance by none other than some of the most iconic names in Texas music – Randy Rogers Band, Pat Green, Josh Abbott Band, and Stoney LaRue – each of whom are considered godfathers of the Red Dirt genre and together helped bring Texas Country music to a national stage over the past two-plus decades.
These true Texas legends will be joined by several existing and fast-rising acts based across the state including Bottomland from Conroe, who continue to release a string of smash hit singles leading up to their highly anticipated debut album release; the five-piece Graham St. Clair Band from Waco, who released release their first-ever single โOutlaw Billโ under the new band name, formerly known as West Texas Mind, and more.
โWe are thrilled with this yearโs music lineup for the second annual Feels Like Home Festival,” states Mayor of Brownwood Stephen E. Haynes. โWe encourage residents and visitors to enjoy this yearโs event and experience all the great things Brownwood has to offer.โ
After a successful debut last October, Feels Like Home will return to the regionโs premier outdoor music venue and event center – Brownwood Event Center – laying the foundation for a long-lasting cultural celebration found each fall deep in the heart of Texas.
Originally built as a warehouse for the Radford Grocery Company in the 1920s, the reimagined Ice House building on Lee Street will host the festivalโs main stage with ample space for fans to sprawl across the open-air lawn while two-stepping the day away.
Organizers will also be inviting a number of talented artists from the greater Brownwood area to perform on a smaller secondary stage in order to help shine a light on the incredible local music talent found in the region. Stay tuned for the expanded music lineup to drop soon!
Feels Like Home Festival will once again welcome a mouthwatering and carefully curated selection of craft barbecue joints for fans to devour onsite โ all of which are based in the Lone Star State.
Whether fans are dancing to their favorite country tunes, savoring the flavors of authentic Texas BBQ, or simply soaking in the unique charm and warmth of Brownwood, thereโs something for everyone to enjoy at Feels Like Home Festival.
Produced by Soundskilz in partnership with the City of Brownwood, organizers hope to provide residents with incredible performances from some of todayโs most sought-after country music acts set to the backdrop of Brownwoodโs brand-new top-of-the-line event center, while providing a positive and substantial economic impact to the local community.
General Admission and VIP tickets to the outdoor celebration of rural Texas, country music, and authentic Texas BBQ will go on sale at on Friday, May 16th 10 am local time. Fans are encouraged to purchase passes as soon as possible, with prices increasing as the event date approaches.
After a successful year one last fall, organizers are turning up the heat with a new slate of exciting additions โ from extended start times and unlimited BBQ tastings to enhanced VIP perks and flexible payment options.
The newest option to pay for tickets includes making micro-deposits over time, with payments increasing as the festival date approaches. Discount-priced tickets are being made available to current and former military members, current college students, and as four-ticket bundles.
Another new ticket option includes unlimited samples of craft BBQ from pitmasters around the State of Texas for up to four hours. Tickets can be purchased with festival music tickets in advance, although prices are subject to change at the door, based on availability. VIP ticket buyers now automatically include unlimited bites during the โBBQ Samplingโ timeframe on Saturday from 1-5 pm.
The festival gates will open earlier this year at Noon CST, featuring more activities, food, and live country music. Attendees are allowed to come and go until 5 pm with their festival pass, perfect for those who need to freshen up midday before indulging in nighttime fun.
Attendees can reserve the best seat in the house at the Platinum Party Viewing Deck, with a capacity for up to 20 guests. This premier experience includes 40 drink tickets for use at the private VIP bar, plus complimentary sodas, water, snacks, and a private ice cooler. These Platinum VIP guests will also be treated to up-close and elevated sightlines of the main stage, along with plenty of comfy seating and a private shaded area inside.
Stay tuned as more details surrounding this yearโs event will be announced in the coming weeks, including this yearโs lineup of mouth-watering BBQ pitmasters from across the state of Texas who have been invited to set up camp at the inaugural outdoor fest, along with the full slate of family-friendly activities and community partners involved in Feels Like Home Festival 2025.
