The doctors treating Randy Travis have released a video updating fans on the iconic singer’s condition. Dr. William Gray, the director of cardiovascular services at Baylor Medical Center at McKinney, Texas, and Dr. Michael Mack, the director of cardiovascular disease at the Baylor Health Care System in Dallas, are treating the 54-year-old Travis at The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano. Travis was admitted to Baylor Medical Center in critical condition on Sunday (July 7th) with presumptive cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure when doctors determined he needed higher level of specialized care that The Heart Hospital provides.
Baylor is described as providing innovative health care for a variety of emergency issues, including heart and vascular services in which Travis has been diagnosed with.

“Mr. Randy Travis was admitted through an emergency department to Baylor Medical Center at Mckinney on Sunday, July 7. He had been in previously excellent health until three weeks prior when he developed a viral upper respiratory illness.
He was admitted at Baylor Mckinney with a presumptive cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure.”
