Rooney was arrested following an accident in Williamson County
Rascal Flatts guitarist Joe Don Rooney was arrested Thursday (Sept 9th) and charged with driving under the influence in Nashville. The 45 year old was taken into custody following an early morning accident in nearby Williamson County.
The sheriff’s department reports that Rooney crashed into a tree north of Franklin at around 4 am. It’s unknown if Rooney suffered any injuries.
The country musician bonded out of Williamson County jail after being retained for three hours. He remains free on $2500 bond.
