Fans can upload their videos to YouTube or Dropbox
Country superstar and actress Reba McEntire has written a new song, “Pray For Peace,” and is enlisting the help of her fans to create the music video for it.
The singer is asking that fans invite their friends, family, co-workers, etc. to join them at a location that shows their place in the world, such as a local landmark, scenic view, etc., to film themselves doing the “pray for peace” motions that Reba demonstrates in the video below. All fans and their loved ones have to do is smile and do the hand motions.
Upload the video to YouTube with the hashtag #PrayForPeace or use a file sharing service like Dropbox and fill out the form that includes a link to the video.
The deadline to submit your video is May 27th. Fans whose videos are chosen will be notified via email by May 30th.
If you are filming with an iPhone, please be sure to turn it horizontally, not vertically.
Reba’s staff claims the single is not part of an album, but the track will be available for download soon. The video is expected to premiere June. “Pray For Peace” is the first new music fans have heard from the superstar since her short lived TV series, Malibu Country, on ABC from 2012-2013. Reba’s last album, All The Women I Am, was released in 2010 on The Valory Music Co.
