Reba, Time Jumpers set to headline cancer benefit concert

The concert features a goody bag, buffet and drinks

Reba McEntire, Riders In The Sky and The Time Jumpers are set to headline the inaugural “Dawn Sears and Friends” cancer benefit concert Sunday, November 30th at the Depot Square in Gallatin, TN, just outside of Nashville.

Sears, a member of The Time Jumpers and cancer survivor, is also the organizer of the event. “I am on a mission to help fund lung cancer research at Vanderbilt (by way of a benefit concert), which will bring more HOPE to those of us with lung cancer,” she states.

“I was diagnosed in February 2013,” she continues. “Both sides of my family have experienced cancer so it’s not all that unfamiliar, however, now with lung cancer I have a greater understanding of the daily battle and challenges that people with cancer (of any kind) face.”

Former figure skater and cancer survivor Scott Hamilton will emcee the event.

General Admission tickets are $150 with $100 tax deduction. VIP tickets are $250 with $175 tax deduction. Each ticket includes a goody bag, buffet and drinks. You can register through the Vanderbilt University Alumni Association.
