RSD Drops over two Saturdays this summer

For the second consecutive year, Record Store Day will release its extensive list of special titles through independent record stores via RSD Drops, taking place on June 12th and July 17th at participating stores worldwide.

“We’ve spent the last few months watching the news, listening to health officials, talking with record stores, labels, and RSD organizers the world over, and because we still don’t have a magic 8-ball to tell us what things are going to look like in a few months, we’ve decided the smartest thing to do is bring back the concept of RSD Drops for 2021,” organizers share.

Record Store Day launched RSD Drops in 2020 to follow social distancing guidelines put forth during COVID-19. The RSD Drop dates continue to support indie record stores with sales, while hopefully saving the big parties, shows, in-stores, crowds and celebrations for Record Store Day 2022.

Once again, local stores will be handling sales and procedures in their own way for protection, so it’s recommended you check with them directly before shopping.

The List of titles for both RSD Drops will be released soon.
