The new track is available now
Country powerhouse band Restless Road releases one of their most personal songs to date with “And Then Some,” available everywhere now via Restless Road/Neon Coast Records. Written by the trio’s Zach Beeken, Garrett Nichols and Colton Pack alongside Joybeth Taylor and Colton Venner, the release tells the relatable story of unexpectedly falling fast to suddenly wishing you had forever “and then some” with your significant other.
“We always feel inspired to write songs based on our personal journeys, and this one perfectly captures moments from each of our individual lives at the same exact time,” the trio shares. “We hope that our listeners are able to find themselves in this special song and connect to it in the same way that we do.”
As each group member reaches the next stage of adulthood, between fatherhood and new relationships, they look forward to the future in “And Then Some,” acknowledging the bittersweet realization that forever may never feel like enough time together. The song details the start of being caught up in the instant connection with someone, followed by the hope that you’ll be with them forever.
The track follows the release of “Last Thing I Deserve” in April. Trannie Anderson and Lindsay Rimes joined the trio in the writing room to create the meaningful ode dedicated to their better halves. The group reflects on the relationships that helped them get to where they are today, and all the ups and downs that came with it.
The trio recently wrapped their Goin’ Out Like That Tour after visiting 20 cities this spring, including stops in major markets like Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago and more.
