Grammy nominated artist and Maybach Music Group founder Rick Ross has announced that he will perform a first ever concert event on August 14th from Club Nokia at L.A. LIVE. Gearing up for the much anticipated release of his sixth studio album Mastermind, Ross has teamed up with the famed 1500 or Nothin Band and prepared a brand new show with a look and sound unlike anything anybody has seen from him before.
“The Fifteen Hundreds,” as they are often referred to, are an eight piece band and have toured the world with many multi-platinum artists including Snoop Dogg, Lupe Fiasco, T.I., The Game and Faith Evans. This one night only event at Club Nokia will maintain the vision that has taken Rick Ross to the top of the game, but will bring it to the next level with the addition of The Fifteen Hundreds.
“It’s never been done like this… we’ll be performing everything from Tears of Joy to Aston Martin Music, all with a live band. It’s time to remind everyone what Maybach Music is all about,” Ross states.
The concert event will be nationally broadcast live, one night only, on AXS TV, beginning at midnight ET/9 pm PT on August 14th. With a library of chart hits and critically acclaimed studio albums of his own and the luxury of having the Maybach Music Group roster to call on, Ross and The Fifteen Hundreds will have no shortage of material. The hottest MC in the game is only looking to further solidify his dominance in the music industry.
