Producer, songwriter and recording artist Rico Love celebrates his birthday with a special gallery presentation of street art’s most celebrated artists on Friday, December 6th at a private event at Cafeina Lounge in Miami’s Wynwood Art District. Presented by Crown Royal, the esteemed music mogul partners with iconic street art publication, 12ozPROPHET, to showcase previously unseen works from defining artists, alongside select works from the new generation. Dozens of the music industry’s most influential individuals will join invited guests from the sport, entertainment, fashion and art world, to celebrate with the man who has influenced their artistic lives and creative repertoires over the last decade.
The intimate gallery presentation will feature a highly anticipated showcase of work from Os Gemeos, Twist (Barry McGee), Interesni Kazki, Finok, Futura, Phil Frost, and Faile. Rico will incorporate elements from his passion project, Save Art, that will provide an interesting insight through highlighting the scene’s transition from the cover of night to the light of day.
“Street art has always been a passion of mine, and while experiencing the most extraordinary exhibitions by today’s emerging artists each year during Art Basel, 12ozPROPHET and I decided to share a showcase of works that we believe define today’s creative expression from the street,” says Love. “These specially selected works are from some of the most talented and exciting artists who represent the movement’s passion and progression.”
