Shows were scheduled through June 26th

Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band featuring Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette, Hamish Stuart and Edgar Winter have had to postpone the remainder of their 2022 tour due to two members testing positive for COVID.

These were the first run of tour dates for Starr since the pandemic derailed plans in 2020 and then again in 2021. Almost halfway through the 2022 show run, on Tuesday, June 7th, Starr let audiences know on the second of three sold out shows at New York’s Beacon theater that Edgar Winter had COVID, but the All Starrs continued on. However, Steve Lukather has also tested positive, forcing the group to reschedule the remaining 12 dates from June 11th through June 26th, and adding them to the September tour.

“We are so sorry to let the fans down. It’s been wonderful to be back out on the road and we have been having such a great time playing for you all. But as we all know, COVID is still here and despite being careful these things happen. I want to thank the fans for their patience, I send you all peace and love, and we can’t wait to be back in the fall,” Starr shares on social media.

Starr invites fans around the world to join him for his annual Peace and Love birthday celebration on July 7th. Starting in Australia, New Zealand and Asia, and ending in Hawaii, people help Starr wrap the Earth in a wave of peace and love by sharing love from wherever they are in the world. Fans are already organizing local events around the world, and details and live streams from the events will soon be available on Starr’s Facebook page.

Today (Mon, June 13th) sees Starr debuting his NFT collection via Julien’s Auctions. Ringo Starr NFT Collection – The Creative Mind of a Beatle is a collection of original and one of a kind digital works of art with their accompanying exclusive signed canvas prints created by the first Beatle to lift off into the NFT galaxy.
