Proceeds for the next year will benefit victims of the California wildfires
Ringo Starr releases “With a Little Help from My Friends” with 100% of all global streaming revenue generated by the song through March 27, 2026 to equally support the American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity ReBUILDLA to help those impacted by the California wildfires in 2025.
This once in a lifetime all-star performance was recorded live at the historic Ryman Auditorium – the Mother Church of Country Music – and features some of music’s hottest names including Sheryl Crow, Rodney Crowell, Mickey Guyton, Emmylou Harris, Sarah Jarosz, Jamey Johnson, Brenda Lee, Larkin Poe, Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, Jack White and more.
The stars were gathered to celebrate Ringo’s music and legacy through the lens of country music around the release of his chart-topping country record Look Up, produced and co-written by T Bone Burnett. The two-night performance was recorded and aired as a two-hour TV Special on CBS, now streaming on Paramount+.
The performances took place on January 14 and 15 as the wildfires devastated Los Angeles and all the artists were eager to do what they could to help. “With a Little Help from My Friends” was the closing song at each of these shows, the culmination and celebration of this special and unique collaboration of these esteemed performers and the energy they brought to the song along with the enthusiasm of the crowd was captured on this singular version. The spirit of community and camaraderie that is expressed in the song felt like the perfect message to send out in support of those impacted by the destructive fires.
“I love LA and have lived there for many years, and while we were recording this in Nashville, many of us had family and friends who were dealing with the wildfires in Los Angeles. It was so great performing this song with these incredible artists and we all wanted to do something to help. I think the song says it all really, “With A Little Help From My Friends” and we send it to all those affected by the fires with Peace and Love,” Ringo says.
