Roger Waters, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, The Who and Bob Dylan have all hinted at a classic rock Coachella rumored to take place in October.

Over the weekend, each of the five acts posted a short 30-40 second video of one of their songs with the word “October” written at the end. Rumors have surfaced that the organizers of Coachella are preparing the first ever classic rock version of the three day festival featuring Waters, McCartney, The Stones, The Who, Dylan and Neil Young — who, as of this writing, has yet to post a video — performing all in the same weekend at the Empire Polo Grounds in California.

No official announcement has been made by AEG Live or Goldenvoice, the organizers of Coachella, Stagecoach and other festivals, yet. We have reached out to AEG Live, but have not heard a response.

Rumors indicate that two of the six acts would perform each night with Dylan and The Stones opening the festival Friday night, Young and McCartney performing on Saturday and The Who and Waters closing on Sunday.

This would be the first time any of the these acts shared the bill together during their more than 50 year careers. More details will be announced as they become available.
