New festival announces second year dates

The second annual RokIsland Fest has been announced for January 17-21, 2023 in Key West, Florida. The festival will feature headlining performances by Styx, Tesla and Loverboy with another headliner to be announced on July 3rd. Other performers include 38 Special, Queensryche, Extreme, Stephen Pearcy, Stryper, Steven Adler, Quiet Riot, Pretty Boy Floyd, Enuff Z’Nuff, Wig Wam and others. SiriusXM personality Eddie Trunk returns to the event.

“The inaugural RokIsland Fest in early 2022 brought some of the biggest rock bands on the planet to the island of Key West for four days of epic performances and tropical bliss,” says festival co-rounder Dave Giencke. “After the overwhelming response from the artists and attendees who came in from all over the country and across the pond, we decided to add another day to RokIsland Fest 2023 with a lineup as equally stacked as year one. I’m fairly certain we’ve once again created the premier destination experience for rock fans around the world.”

Tickets are on sale Wednesday, July 6th at 10 am ET with a variety of festival passes and VIP options available via rokislandfest.com.

The event takes over the Truman Waterfront Park Amphitheater located on the Gulf waters of Key West. This boutique facility offers an unparalleled view of the action from every conceivable spot. This is a small capacity show and tickets will go fast as the amphitheater only holds 4,000 patrons.

The inaugural event was held this past January featuring Bret Micheals, Night Ranger, Winger, Loverboy, Skid Row, Warrant, Dee Snider, Dokken, Slaughter, Jackyl, Lita Ford and others.
