The band is in the midst of its Sixty tour

The Rolling Stones have canceled tonight’s (Mon, June 13th) show in Amsterdam after Mick Jagger tests positive for COVID. The legendary rockers shared the news on the band’s social media pages.

“The Rolling Stones have been forced to call off tonight’s concert in Amsterdam at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, following Mick Jagger testing positive after experiencing symptoms of COVID upon arrival at the stadium,” their statement reads. “The Rolling Stones are deeply sorry for tonight’s postponement but the safety of the audience, fellow musicians and the touring crew has to take priority.”

Tickets will be honored for a rescheduled date to be announced.

The band has played three of the fourteen dates of its 60th anniversary tour. The trek sees Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood make their long-awaited return to their home turf of the UK.

The band’s next performance is scheduled for Friday, June 17th at Wankdorf Stadium in Bern, SW. No word on the future of that or additional performances as of press time.
