The electronic trio scores first dance radio chart topper
Grammy-winning live electronic trio Rufus Du Sol scores its first No. 1 on dance radio with its recent hit single “Music is Better” claiming the top spot on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. The news arrives on the heels of their electrifying headline performance at Portola Music Festival in San Francisco this past Saturday and the release of their latest track, “Pressure,” on Friday.
“Music is Better” served as the lead single from their highly-anticipated forthcoming fifth studio album Inhale/Exhale, out October 11th via Rose Avenue/Reprise Records. In addition to “Pressure,” it is joined by earlier singles “Lately,” and “Break My Love,” the latter of which is featured on the EA Sports FC 25 official soundtrack.
The new album will mark a new creative groove for the band, an era that is defined by enjoying the process and creating from the now while binding organic and electronic. The album encompasses the themes that have endeared fans for over a decade – romance, heartbreak, euphoria, despair – through a medley of sprawling, mature soundscapes.
Rufus Du Sol will return to festival stages next year as the only electronic headliner on all three South American editions of Lollapalooza 2025.
