Salt-N-Pepa, Vanilla Ice return for I Love The 90s Tour 2018

The popular franchise continues into the new year

Nineties rap is more popular than ever since the I Love The 90’s Tour kicked off in 2015. Due to popular demand, the tour has been extended into 2018 with Salt-n-Pepa and Vanilla Ice as headliners. Kid ‘n Play, Coolio, All 4 One, Tone Loc and Young MC are all expected to be part of the 2018 rotating lineup.

The original I Love The 90’s Tour has performed in more than 170 markets in 18 months including a seven city tour of Australia that sold 22,000 tickets on the first day of sale. The tour of Australia would eventually sell more than 40,000 tickets. The tour sold 600,000 tickets 2016 in alone and expanded dates in 2017.

Following early sold out shows and mounting demand from fans, I Love The 90’s Tour continues to dominate as the nostalgia-driven go-to tour. Early reviews have praised the tour as “the live version of Yo! MTV Raps with Fab Five Freddy” by Houston Press and “arena-sized dance party…promises to be all that and a bag of chips” by Entertainment Weekly. The I Love The 90’s Tour invites attendees to reminisce about the trend-setting decade with some of the most iconic, indelible names in rap, hip hop and R&B.

The popular franchise has spawned I Love the 90’s Tour – The Party Continues featuring TLC, Naughty by Nature, Kid ‘n Play, Biz Markie, Montell Jordan and Rob Base that runs through October 2017. It’s even taking it to the high seas with the inaugural Ship-Hop, Starring I Love The 90’s Tour set for January 11 – January 15, 2018 at the Port of Miami.
