Superstar returns Down Under for fall 2023

Frontier Touring has announced that global superstar Sam Smith will bring Gloria The Tour to Australia and New Zealand in October and November 2023.

“I’m so excited to be launching Gloria the tour Australia and New Zealand dates for October and November 2023 from Adelaide, South Australia today!” Smith shares. “Both countries hold such a special place in my heart and we’re working hard on delivering an incredible show for you all! I can’t wait for you to see it and be with you all again soon xx.”

Touring in support of Gloria, the long-awaited tour will be the star’s first live shows in both countries since 2018.

The Australian leg will kick off Saturday, October 28th in Adelaide before heading to Melbourne on Tuesday, October 31st, Sydney on Friday, November 3rd and then Brisbane on Wednesday, November 8th with it wrapping in Auckland on Saturday, November 11th.

Frontier Members will have access to pre-sale tickets on Monday, January 16th ahead of the general public on sale on Wednesday, January 18th via Frontier Touring.

Smith is currently in Australia and will perform an exclusive concert floating above the vines at d’Arenberg Cube winery in McLaren Vale, South Australia tonight! With Adelaide being the first stop on the Australian leg of Gloria The Tour, it’s only fitting that the tour is launched in South Australia where Smith has been enjoying some of the state’s best tourism experiences over the past few days.

Gloria The Tour kicks off in Miami this summer as Smith embarks on his first North American run since 2018. Jessie Reyez, who guests on Smith’s forthcoming album, will be the special guest on all dates except August 4th in Washington DC.

Set for release on January 27th via Capitol Records, Smith’s fourth studio album, Gloria, includes the Grammy-nominated single “Unholy” featuring Kim Petras, which spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and four weeks atop the UK Official Singles Chart. The song also took the No. 1 position on the Mediabase Top 40 Airplay chart, spent 29 consecutive days at No. 1 on the Global Spotify chart and topped the Apple and Shazam worldwide tallies. “Unholy” was the only pop collaboration of 2022 to be certified RIAA Platinum and the third collaboration across all genres to reach this milestone and the track has amassed over one billion combined global streams.
