Gloria The Tour heads Down Under this fall

Following huge ticket demand in Sam Smith Gloria The Tour general public on sale for Australia and New Zealand, Frontier Touring has announced second and final Melbourne and Sydney shows on Wednesday, November 1st and Saturday, November 4th, respectively. Tickets to the new Melbourne and Sydney shows will go on sale at 1 pm local time January 18th. The first Melbourne and Sydney shows are now sold out.

The long-awaited Australian leg will kick off Saturday, October 28th in Adelaide before heading to Melbourne for two shows on Tuesday, October 31st and Wednesday, November 1st, Sydney two shows on Friday, November 3rd and Saturday, November 4th, and then Brisbane on Wednesday, November 8th with it wrapping in Auckland on Saturday, November 11th.

Gloria The Tour kicks off in Miami this summer as Smith embarks on his first North American run since 2018. Jessie Reyez, who guests on Smith’s forthcoming album, will be the special guest on all dates except August 4th in Washington DC.

Set for release on January 27th via Capitol Records, Smith’s fourth studio album, Gloria, includes the Grammy-nominated single “Unholy” featuring Kim Petras, which spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and four weeks atop the UK Official Singles Chart. The song also took the No. 1 position on the Mediabase Top 40 Airplay chart, spent 29 consecutive days at No. 1 on the Global Spotify chart and topped the Apple and Shazam worldwide tallies. “Unholy” was the only pop collaboration of 2022 to be certified RIAA Platinum and the third collaboration across all genres to reach this milestone and the track has amassed over one billion combined global streams.
