The song appears on his forthcoming Act II: Countrystar album
Rising country musician Sam Williams has โNo Problemโ channeling all the feels with his new sultry song. Accompanying the song is a striking black-and-white music video that beautifully captures the essence of young, soft, queer love. The visual follows Sam and his love interest in fleeting, intimate moments of stolen glances and quiet laughter shared between them.
Penned by Williams, Nick Bailey, Michael Tyler, and Noah West, the song marks a striking evolution in Samโs sound, blending an R&B-pop groove with his signature country twang. Samโs soulful, velvety vocals shine over a smooth, rhythmic beat and a lush, pulsing arrangement as he glides through the laundry list of problems he has โ tequila burns, two-lane curves, the morning sun โ before confidently confessing, โI ainโt got a problem loving you, no / I ainโt got a problem in this room, no / I donโt ever wanna leave this bed / Love it when youโre layin’ on my chest / I ainโt got a problem, baby / I ainโt got a problem loving you.โ
Of the track, Sam says, โI thought itโd be fun to make a song that had an R&B-pop vibe to it because thatโs what I grew up listening to. โNo Problemโ is a confident, romantic love letter that embodies the energy of Act II: unapologetically honest, gutsy, and layered with complex emotions.โ
โNo Problemโ and the previously released title track โCountrystarโ will both be featured on Samโs forthcoming project Act II: Countrystar, due for release on July 11th via Mercury Nashville. The vibrant and daring seven-song project underscores Samโs versatile songwriting skills. To bring this new sound to life, Sam collaborated with producer Nick Bailey, whose credits include Lana Del Rey, Quavo, Maroon 5, and Blake Shelton, and producer Yung Lan (Morgan Wallen, Lil Uzi Vert).
