Tour was to feature Whitesnake and Night Ranger

The Sammy Hagar & The Circle Summer 2020 Tour has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tour with Whitesnake and Night Ranger was set to being in July and run through September.

“We’re disappointed that the current situation has forced us to make this call but our top priority is the health and safety of our entire Circle which extends from the band to our touring family to the venue staff at every show and especially to our fans,” the band says. “We can’t wait for the day when we’re safely on the other side of this and can hit the stage and celebrate with you again. Until then, stay safe and we’ll do our best to continue entertaining you with our Lockdown Sessions!”

South American shows were canceled in March at the start of the pandemic. Ticket holders will be emailed directly from the ticketing company with their refund options in the coming days.

The Circle, comprised of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Sammy Hagar and bassist Michael Anthony, drummer Jason Bonham and guitarist Vic Johnson, have quickly established themselves as one of the most emphatic and exciting live acts on tour today, seamlessly ripping through career-spanning hits from Montrose, Van Halen, Hagar’s solo career, as well as the band’s hit debut studio album, Space Between, which scored them the No. 1 rock album and No. 4 overall album on the Billboard 200 in 2019. Setlists include hits like, “There’s Only One Way To Rock”, “Finish What Ya Started”, “Mas Tequila”, “I Can’t Drive 55”, “Can’t Hang”, “Rock Candy”, “Right Now” and many more.
