Santana, Journey announces three joint concerts

Santana and Journey will join up for three special concerts this April. The two legendary music artists will take the stage together starting in New York City at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, April 13th with shows also lined up in Uncasville, Connecticut at Mohegan Sun Arena (April 15th) and Allentown, Pennsylvania at PPL Center (April 16th).

The joint tour dates are in support of Santana IV, featuring the early ’70s lineup of guitar icon Carlos Santana (guitar, vocals), Gregg Rolie (keyboards, lead vocals), Journey co-founder Neal Schon (guitar, vocals), Michael Carabello (percussion) and Michael Shrieve (drums). The album signifies the first time in 45 years – since 1971’s multi-platinum classic Santana III – that the quintet has recorded together.

Santana IV will be released on April 15th on Santana IV Records and is distributed by Thirty Tigers/RED Distribution. It’s available for pre-order on Amazon on CD and double 180-gram LP vinyl with digital download card.
