Former Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland kicks off the third leg of his Purple At The Core Tour with a pair of shows at the legendary Viper Room on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, CA. The announcement was made Thursday (July 11th) along with the 13 other dates that run through August 24th when Weiland and his band The Wildabouts wrap up at Ft. Lauderdale’s Revolution.
The Purple at the Core Tour has been galvanizing music fans since this past spring. Describing a show in Chicago earlier this year, Chicago Now said, “In an era devoid of full on rock stars, Scott Weiland is a notable exception.” The same dynamic presence that has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide continues to draw crowds on his latest trek across the country.
