Video was directed by Jay Martin

Shawn Mendes has debuted the video for his recently released track, “It’ll Be Okay.” The video was directed by Jay Martin (Stitches, Mercy, There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back) and was filmed in Mendes’ hometown of Toronto.

The song was released on December 1st. With lyrics like, “If you tell me you’re leaving, I’ll make it easy / It’ll be okay,” many speculate the track is about his breakup with Camila Cabello.

In March, Mendes will kick off the extensive 2022 Wonder: The World Tour. The trek will hit 64 arena dates spanning across North America, the UK and Europe. The tour kicks off March 14th in Copenhagen, Denmark and trekking through Europe and the UK before hitting the States in June. Mendes will be joined by special guest Tate McRae.

Mendes’ most recent album Wonder debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200, making Mendes one of three male artists ever to score four No. 1 albums by 22 years old.
