Shenandoah releases inspirational ‘Revival’

Single & video available now

Grammy winning country supergroup Shenandoah hasn’t released any new music in over two years. That changes with the release of their new single, “Revival,” available now via 8 Track Entertainment/Fame Records.

“To say that we are excited about our new song, ‘Revival,’ would be an understatement,” remarks frontman Marty Raybon. “The lyric of coming together and the tempo of what’s called ‘Four on the Floor’ makes the chorus’s drive. It truly feels like another ‘Church On Cumberland Road’ or ‘Two Dozen Roses.’ The crowd reaction playing it live sure makes it feel like a hit.”

“As a songwriter at heart, I love when a song finds its perfect home. I’m thankful that ‘Revival’ found its place with such a great group as Shenandoah,” adds Tyler Hubbard who co-wrote the song with Brian Kelley, Corey Crowder and Joshua Miller.

Produced by Grammy Award-winner, Noah Gordon, the spirit-filled new single teases Shenandoah’s upcoming album scheduled for release later this year.

Shenandoah performed their captivating new single in an exclusive broadcast premiere on TBN’s Huckabee on Saturday, January 28th.

Revival tour dates are expected to be announced in the near future.

Shenandoah originally formed in Muscle Shoals, Alabama in 1985. The band has charted 26 singles on the Billboard Hot Country charts, including No. 1 hits “The Church On Cumberland Road,” “Sunday In The South” and “Two Dozen Roses” from 1989, “Next To You, Next To Me” from 1990, and “If Bubba Can Dance (I Can Too)” from 1994. The single “Somewhere In The Vicinity Of The Heart,” which featured guest vocals from Alison Krauss, won both artists a Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and CMA Vocal Event of the Year. To date, the group has sold millions of albums worldwide and has over 300 million on-demand streams.
