New Year’s Eve countdown to broadcast live from Allstate Fan Fest

As the Georgia Bulldogs prepare to take on the Baylor Bears at the 86th Allstate Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day, Allstate will provide college football fans and New Orleans residents with free activities and performances to celebrate the New Year. For the fourth year, Allstate Fan Fest will again serve as the Central Time Zone Countdown location of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020, with feature performances by multi-platinum selling artists Sheryl Crow and Usher.

“Each year, we look forward to immersing ourselves in the contagious energy that kicks off at Allstate Fan Fest and continues through the final play of the Allstate Sugar Bowl,” states Pam Hollander, vice president of consumer marketing for Allstate. “New Orleans is already an iconic place to celebrate the new year, and Allstate is proud to enhance that experience for fans and community members with a fan parade, free performances and a new, photo-sharable mural.”

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020 will broadcast live from Allstate Fan Fest on Tuesday, December 31st at 7 pm CST on ABC. Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award-winning actor, singer, director, composer, and playwright Billy Porter will host the Central Time Zone festivities providing viewers with exclusive celebrity and fan interviews leading up to the fleur-de-lis drop in Jackson Square. Sheryl Crow will take the stage at 8:15 pm, followed by Usher at 10:30 pm.

The party starts in New York City’s Times Square with performances by Post Malone, BTS, Sam Hunt and Alanis Morissette, performing for the first time with the cast of the hit Broadway musical Jagged Little Pill for America’s biggest celebration of the year.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020 marks the 48th anniversary of America’s biggest celebration of the year and will include five and a half hours of special performances and reports on New Year’s celebrations from around the globe In addition to Ciara on the West Coast, Ryan Seacrest will continue his reign as host of the primetime festivities for his 15th year and lead the traditional countdown to midnight from Times Square in New York City, joined by newly announced co-host, Lucy Hale.

Additionally, country artist Jessie James Decker will reveal the first-ever First Powerball Millionaire of the Year during this year’s live broadcast of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020. Decker will provide live updates from the First Powerball Millionaire of the Year party throughout ABC’s live telecast and the big reveal announcing the winner will air just after midnight on January 1st.

Special content produced by YouTube will run throughout the broadcast. Announcements on creators and talent featured will come at a later date.
