Nelson will release Ride Me Back Home on June 21st
In celebration of Willie Nelson’s 86th birthday on both April 29th and April 30th (see clip below for explanation why Nelson has two birthdays), SiriusXM’s channel, Willie’s Roadhouse (Ch. 59) will present an extended four-day weekend party featuring an exclusive performance from Willie Nelson & Family (with sons Lukas and Micah and special guest Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats) recorded at the recent Luck Reunion music festival at Nelson’s private ranch in Luck, Texas.
Willie’s Roadhouse will also feature “Ride Me Back Home,” the title track of Nelson’s forthcoming album on Legacy Recordings, throughout the weekend. The song was world premiered on Thursday, April 25th by his daughter Paula Nelson, who hosts daily SiriusXM shows on both the Willie’s Roadhouse (6 pm to midnight ET) and Outlaw Country (6 am to noon ET) channels.
Willie Nelson’s 4-Day Birthday Weekend will air Saturday, April 27th at 7 pm; Sunday, April 28th at 11 an and 8 pm; Monday, April 29th at noon and 6 pm ET; and Tuesday, April 30th at midnight and 8 pm ET.
