Skid Row introduces new singer with ‘The Gang’s All Here’

New album is due in Oct

Skid Row introduces Erik Grönwall from the Swedish band H.E.A.T. as their singer with its new single “The Gang’s All Here” from the iconic New Jersey rockers’ forthcoming The Gang’s All Here album. Eddie Trunk unveiled the news during his Trunk Nation show on SiriusXM Volume on Wednesday (Mar 23rd). Trunk also premiered the title track from the album that will be released on CD and multiple vinyl configurations, including black LP, limited edition 180-gram white LP and limited edition 180-gram transparent red LP on October 14th via earMUSIC.

“It’s a new era for Skid Row. With a new album, a new single and a world tour, we’ve added a new voice. Welcome powerhouse vocalist Erik Grönwall, formerly from the band H.E.A.T. from Sweden,” Skid Row shares in a statement.

“Ladies and gents. I hereby declare the circle of all fucking circles complete. You’re looking at the new singer of @officialskidrow #skidrow #erikgronwall,” Grönwall adds.

The album is due a month later than initially expected after Dave “The Snake” Sabo confirmed last month on an episode of The Music Universe Podcast that the album would drop in September. “The Gang’s All Here” digital single will be available on Friday (March 25th).

The band had been working on the album with former vocalist ZP Theart before scratching those tracks for Grönwall’s. There’s no additional information as to why Theart was replaced. A rep for the band confirmed a press release about the new album and singer is forthcoming, but provided no further details.

Grönwall will make his debut appearance as new vocalist this weekend as Skid Row supports the Scorpions during a nine date residency at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Before the show opener on Saturday (Mar 26th), Trunk will host a Vegas Invasion with both groups in the lobby of the Zappos Theater. The event will air during Trunk’s show from 2-4 pm ET/11 am-1 pm PT on Monday (Mar 28th) with a replay that night from 10 pm-midnight ET/7-10 pm PT.

Skid Row will also join Warrant on the road with the Live to Rock Tour that starts on April 30th in Ashland, KY. Dates are currently scheduled through September 15th with additional dates to be announced through March and April.
