The pair have 5000 Facebook Friends
In the deep hills of coal mine country in Man, West Virginia, music is what a entire community (and more) look forward to every Wednesday night.
Michael Landon Hall (R in above image) and David Lee Burgess (L in above image) are family, cousins to be exact. They both share their passion of country music together. The Man, West Virginia natives go live every Wednesday night via their Facebook page. What started as something fun has now turned into something a little more serious.
You see, in this town, the population is 704. However, on Wednesday nights you can expect a live audience of at least 250 people tuning in to see these two guys sing cover songs along with some originals. It gives Miranda Lambert’s song titled “Famous In A Small Town” a whole new meaning.
Hall, who focuses on music full time has a special interest in songwriting. Burgess, who works at a funeral home, says music is mainly a hobby for him.
During their live feed, they take request from fans. They sing everything from Josh Turner, Chris Young and even Elvis Presley.
Their chemistry and fun demeanor keeps viewers entertained. Also, on rare occasions, they will have viewers from other parts of the world such as Australia and Canada — places that these two can’t even dream of visiting.
What do you get when you take two cousins, some harmonies and have them sing country songs together? Small town celebrities, of course.
If you want to see what the fuss is about, check these guys out every Wednesday night via Michael Landon Hall’s Facebook page.
