Snoop Dogg, Chris Janson among upcoming Concerts in Your Car headliners

The Beach Boys, 311 and Slightly Stoopid headlining Ventura Fairgrounds event throughout October

Summer may be over, but the fun is just getting started in Ventura! In a year when large public gatherings have been rendered unsafe by COVID-19 and entertainment innovation is key, CBF Productions launched the first drive-in live music experience in California. They continue to lead the pack by bringing top name talent to their acclaimed live, drive-in, theatre-in-the-round-style and socially-distanced entertainment option to the Ventura County Fairgrounds through the fall.

The October schedule begins with the international hip hop legend Snoop Dog, who will be spinning records as DJ Snoopadelic. He’ll appear on Friday, October 2nd for two shows at 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm.

The following weekend brings the beloved SoCal band Slightly Stoopid on Friday, October 9th. Steeped in Southern California culture and armed with profound creativity and skilled musicianship, Slightly Stoopid is today recognized as one of the most successful touring reggae-rock acts in history.

Platinum-selling recording artist Chris Janson takes over the stage the following night on Saturday, October 10th. The award-winning, multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter breakout country star Janson is perhaps best known for his double-platinum smash hit “Buy Me A Boat” and “Good Vibes,” his third No. 1 country radio hit from his new album Real Friends.

As previously announced, The Beach Boys will headline on Friday, October 23rd. As The 60’s pop group mark more than a half century of making music, the group continues to ride the crest of a wave unequalled in America’s musical history. The Beach Boys have become synonymous with the California lifestyle and have become an American icon to fans around the world. The Beach Boys have sold over 100 million records worldwide and have received more than 33 RIAA platinum and gold record awards.

On Saturday, October 24th, the Oingo Boingo Former Members will rock the night performing the hits of the infamous new wave group including “Dead Man’s Party,” “Weird Science,” “Just Another Day” and many more. This powerhouse group has been performing and selling out venues since 2005.

The Halloween takeover brings Aaron Lewis of Stained and Sully Erna of Godsmack together as they perform acoustically side-by-side as part of their American Drive-in Tour playing across the country.

The first act announced for November is the celebrated band 311, performing on Saturday, November 14th. Founded in Omaha, Nebraska, they have been inspiring their fans for three decades with their signature blend of rock, reggae, hip hop and funk. More performances will be added throughout the month.

“Concerts in Your Cars has turned out to be the live entertainment hit of 2020,” states Vincenzo Giammanco, founder of CBF Productions. “We have now expanded our exciting new form of entertainment beyond Ventura to San Diego and Phoenix, so people can experience live music, despite the pandemic. We plan on producing events offering a range of entertainment in a variety of locations – straight into the holidays.”

All shows include a visual light show and multi-media entertainment. The combination of an extra high, theatre-in-the-round style, four-sided stage and four over-sized screens ensures that every seat is the best seat in the house. The events are designed to comply with all official restrictions and sound is distributed to attendees via their car radios. Tickets are sold in advance and online only. Each ticket is valid for one car, and the number of passengers must not exceed the number of safety belts/seats in the vehicle.
