Proceeds of new cereal will benefit charity

Snoop Dogg is releasing Snoop Loopz cereal that will benefit a good cause. The rapper, whose legal name is Calvin Broadus, is releasing the breakfast food under his Broadus Food brand. Fellow rapper Master P, whose legal name is Percy Miller, is the CEO of the brand and shared the news on Instagram.

“Broadus Foods introduces the best tasting cereal in the game Snoop loopz,” the rapper writes. “@snoopdogg we’re taking over the grocery stores. The more we make the more we give. Berry delicious Fo Shizzle!”

The multigrain cereal is gluten free and made in the United States.

It’s unclear when the cereal will be available in stores, but proceeds from the company’s line of products are donated to charitable organizations, such as Donor of Hope.

“The heartbreak of homelessness can’t be solved by providing a bed for the night, a hot meal and a shower, or financial assistance alone,” the company shares of its values. “We address the root causes of homelessness with our holistic approach, while simultaneously keeping families together. We listen to our families, give them a voice, advocate for them, and empower our families with the tools they need to succeed.”

Broadus Foods Founder Calvin Broadus and CEO Percy Miller are committed to inspire economic empowerment by adding diversity into the grocery stores industry and creating opportunities for minority-owned food products and brands. The culture has crowned the two iconic legends, “Kings of Breakfast Foods” for the world famous Mama Snoop breakfast foods consisting of cereal, oatmeal, grits, pancake mix and syrup.

“Broadus Foods was founded to continue Mama Snoop’s legacy of her generous love and passion for feeding families in our communities,” the company shares.
