Sound Royalties expands to Nashville

CEO Alex Heiche will be operating out of Nashville full time

Music industry specialty finance firm Sound Royalties has announced that it has now opened a location in Nashville, Tennessee to better serve the creatives in the city’s thriving music community. To oversee this enhanced presence in Music City, Sound Royalties’ CEO and Founder Alex Heiche is now operating full time out of Nashville.

Located in the Gulch, Sound Royalties’ new space will be utilized to engage with Nashville’s music professionals and educate them about its creative-friendly financing services, which unlike competitors, allow musicians to retain their copyrights and receive overflow income.

The company will host events and gatherings in its Nashville space, independently as well as in concert with other music organizations. The events are exclusive to creatives and music industry professionals looking to network and share their creativity with each other.

“Nashville isn’t just the country music capital, it is the music capital of the world. Beyond those who already live here, creatives from all genres of music travel here to play shows, record music, and collaborate with other artists,” states Heiche, who is a longtime supporter of the Nashville music scene. “It’s important to us that we establish a dedicated space in Nashville, to enhance our commitment to the community and its music professionals.”

Steve Bogard, Board President of Nashville Songwriters Association International, spoke about the importance of the company’s services, stating, “Sound Royalties is a safe and sensible option to support the growth of creatives’ careers. The company’s flexible model works for songwriters in a variety of situations – an up-and-coming young writer, an established artist who wants to fund a new project, or an experienced songwriter managing multiple revenue streams.”

Sound Royalties’ new Nashville space joins its locations in South Florida and Los Angeles. The company is also highly active in other leading music cities, such as New York, Atlanta, Chicago and Austin.

Founded by CEO Alex Heiche, Sound Royalties, LLC is a privately-owned specialty finance firm that helps music industry professionals fund personal and professional projects while allowing them to retain the rights to their music and receive overflow income. The company’s core business is offering royalty advances of anywhere from $5,000 to $10 million. It does this by advancing artist, producer and songwriter royalties paid through music labels, distributors, publishers and PROs such as SoundExchange, BMI, ASCAP, SESAC and many more. To date, Sound Royalties, LLC has worked with a wide range of leading music industry professionals, including GRAMMY Award winners, platinum recording artists and notable music industry executives in every genre.
