Space Apaches ‘Smokin’ Voyages’ ranges from blues, southern rock and psychedelic

No matter when you decide to put Space Apaches’ Smokin’ Voyages, you’re bound to have as much fun listening to it as the band must’ve had recording it. It’s 14 tracks of solid great music that ranges from blues, Southern rock, psychedelic, and sometimes you hear it all in a single track. There’s even a hint of R&B in the cover track “Just Dropped In,” which helps give the rest of Smokin’ Voyages a lot of rock and soul.

This whole album will take you on a super fast ride through the cosmos with music that is out of this world. “Entry” is definitely an enthusiastically spacey tune, while “Smile” takes you back to the 80’s with sleek synth sounds, “Empty” will leave you feeling anything but empty.

This is an awesome album that, minus a few covers, is loaded with some really great original tunes you’ll be playing over in your head over and over again.
