Steelheart to reissue remastered edition of ‘Through Worlds of Stardust’

The song “My Freedom” drops ahead of July 4th

Steelheart, the brainchild of powerhouse vocalist Miljenko Matijević, is set to reissue the acclaimed 2017 record Through Worlds Of Stardust on November 15th, fully remastered and featuring a newly reworked version of the hit single “You Got Me Twisted.” The first track from the album, “My Freedom,” is available just in time to fire up rock fans for the July 4th holiday.

Originally released on Frontiers Records, Through Worlds Of Stardust earned critical praise for its seamless blend of classic rock, AOR, and modern grit. Now back in Steelheart Records’ hands and lovingly restored, the album is primed for rediscovery.

Matijević, who also served as the voice of the fictional Steel Dragon in the film Rock Star and has fronted The Doors in their modern incarnation, has spent the last three decades building an international fanbase stretching from the U.S. to his native Croatia and throughout Asia, where his songs have topped charts.

But his journey hasn’t been without adversity. In 1992, during Steelheart’s first arena tour, a lighting rig collapsed on stage in Denver, nearly killing him. The shocking footage went viral, and his recovery became part of rock history. Defying the odds, he returned with a message of resilience, hope, and a renewed drive to create.

After commemorating his journey with a 30th anniversary release, Miljenko now looks forward — with new music, high-profile collaborations, and the return of Stardust, fully realized.
