The country-infused single will be released to radio on January 25th
Dot Records recording artist Steven Tyler has set his second country single, “Red White And You” for release to radio on January 25th. The single will be available at all digital partners and streaming services on January 22nd.
“Tyler delivers an all American up-tempo country anthem chosen by country radio to kick off the New Year,” a press release from his label states.
The song is the follow up to his debut country single “Love Is Your Name” that was released last summer. “Love Is Your Name” peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard Hot Country Charts after its release last May.
Referred to by Rolling Stone as, “one of the greatest singers of all time,” Tyler has sold more than 150 million records with his band Aerosmith, but decided to take a break from the band to focus on a country career. Tyler signed to Dot Records, an imprint of mega indie country label, Big Machine Label Group, early last year.
“There was an immediate connection with Scott and Big Machine, and Nashville seems like the perfect segue for a solo project…and Dot Records is the right fit,” Tyler said in the statement.
No word on an exact release date for the album, the label states it will be released in 2016.
