Steven Tyler scores #1 album with ‘We’re All Somebody From Somewhere’

Iconic songwriter and prolific singer Steven Tyler’s highly anticipated first solo album We’re All Somebody From Somewhere on Dot Records, underneath the Big Machine Label Group umbrella, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and earned the #1 spot on the iTunes Top Country Albums charts in both the US and Canada. Released on July 15th, the album quickly resonated among fans and critics alike proving “Tyler didn’t just parachute into Nashville for a visit, but walked around and breathed the air” (The Boston Globe).

Penning 12 out of the 15 tracks, Tyler also co-produced the album alongside legendary musicians/producers T Bone Burnett and Dann Huff in addition to Marti Frederikson and Jaren Johnston (The Cadillac Three). Highlights include “It Ain’t Easy” that “just about touches on brilliance” (Sounds Like Nashville) and the unifying title track which showcases “the perfect merge of Steven Tyler and country music” (Radio.com).

We’re All Somebody From Somewhere has already collected stellar reviews:

“…’We’re All Somebody From Somewhere’ marries his raspy, unmistakable vocals with relatable lyrics and countrified sonics.”– Rolling Stone Country

“…one of the top albums by a male vocalist this year so far from Nashville.” – Sounds Like Nashville
