The track can be found on the Companion Disc of Led Zeppelin II: Deluxe Edition
Ahead of the June 3rd release date for the remastered Deluxe Editions of Led Zeppelin’s first three albums, the band has released the full version of a rough mix of “Whole Lotta Love.”
“Whole Lotta Love (Rough Mix with Vocal) (Radio Edit)” has been released via Warner Music Germany’s YouTube page and can be heard below.
The famous track is previously unreleased from Led Zeppelin II, and is heard before the some of its most recognizable parts were recorded, including the first chorus, vocal overdubs, percussive middle section and guitar solo.
“Whole Lotta Love” which will be included on the Companion Audio Disc for Led Zeppelin II, which features other previously unreleased studio outtakes that were recorded during the time of the original recording sessions including an unheard of track, “La La.”
Led Zeppelin I, Led Zeppelin II and Led Zeppelin III will be available in a variety of formats including single CD, 2 CD Deluxe Edition, original album vinyl, Deluxe Edition vinyl, a Limited Edition Super Deluxe Box and all digital formats including HD on June 3rd via Swan Song/Rhino.
The remaining six Zeppelin albums are set to receive the same treatment by the end of 2015.
