Super7 releases The White Stripes action figures

The duo is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Get Behind Me Satan

Jack and Meg White, collectively known as The White Stripes, have been immortalized as action figures. Super7 has released an officially licensed two-pack inspired by the duo’s 2005 album, Get Behind Me Satan.

This 3.75-inch scale ReAction Figure two-pack captures Jack and Meg White in all their red, white, and black glory. Jack comes clad in his iconic red suit and armed with a guitar accessory. Meg, silent but thunderous, includes a pair of drumstick accessories, ready to drive that hypnotic rhythm straight through your collection.

The action figures are packaged in a blistered cardback that echoes the bold minimalism of the album itself, this set is a must-have for any collection.

Founded in 2001, Super7 is the premier pop-culture design house for lifestyle-oriented collectibles, toys and apparel based in San Francisco. Led by designer Brian Flynn, Super7 has harnessed his youthful obsession with science fiction, giant monsters, comic books, punk rock, skateboarding, robots and rebellion to build an innovative take on fan favorite brands.

The White Stripes are marking the 20th anniversary of their Grammy Award-winning 2005 fifth studio album, Get Behind Me Satan, with a limited-edition commemorative vinyl release. The 2 LP edition – featuring one red smoke and one clear with red and black smoke vinyl – arrives worldwide via Third Man Records on June 27th.

Recorded on the stairway of Jack White’s home in the Indian Village neighborhood of Detroit, Get Behind Me Satan sees The White Stripes at their most experimental, creative best, augmenting their traditional sound of guitar, drums, and piano with marimba, tympani, mandolin, bells, and more. Not commercially released on vinyl until ten years after its initial 2005 release, the album made a Top 3 debut on album charts in the US, the UK, Canada, and Australia and earned global acclaim thanks to its unique rhythmic approach and such classic singles as “Blue Orchid,” the Grammy Award-nominated “My Doorbell,” and “The Denial Twist,” all three of which proved Top 10 hits on the UK’s Official Singles Chart. Get Behind Me Satan went on to earn RIAA gold certification in the US, platinum certification in the UK and Canada, and The White Stripes’ second consecutive Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album.
