Tachyon has its moments with new EP

EP albums rarely get their due which is a shame since there are gems in those six tracks or less albums. As for Tachyon’s Teleportation EP, I can’t really call it a gem but I also can’t call it bad. It has its moments, especially the hard charging “Made of Dreams” but then you kind of don’t know where Tachyon is going lyrically with the track “Aliens” which is a rather preachy tune to say the least.

“Why Did I Leave You” has that late 90’s techno vibe but the opening track “Circles” has some sporadic energetic moments. “Time Machine” is a nice enough jam but it feels out of place on this album, sounding more like a pop track than anything electronic.

Still, if you pick this one up, you won’t be too disappointed.
