To call This Clumsy World a folk album is a disservice. It has elements of that but it’s mostly an acoustic, indie, emo trip you’re about to embark on for the next 45 minutes as Keith Alan Mitchell takes you on his journey of breaking free, moving on, and growing up.
Tracks such as “Swaying” offer a deep introspective look of what you need to do to break free while the track “You Just Disappear” is as introspective but will also get you grooving. “What It Means” is one of the strongest, most honest and heartfelt tracks on This Clumsy World, while the more up tempo “Tavern Angeline” is about a place where no one is afraid to say what they mean.
This Clumsy World is definitely a place you’ll want to take a journey to.
