Tate McRae announces third album, 2025 world tour

“2 Hands” is available now from the project

Multi-platinum pop sensation Tate McRae announces her highly anticipated third album So Close To What to be released February 21st via RCA Records. Through unfiltered lyricism and raw emotions, So Close To What represents the journey of growing up when the road ahead feels infinite and the destination increasingly elusive. It’s an introspective exploration of self-discovery, love, and searching for balance in moments of uncertainty.

Exclusive webstore products include limited quantities of an exclusive vinyl including one of four collectible signed poster variants, signed CDs, and cassettes only available while supplies last.

McRae’s new song “2 Hands” alongside the music video will be released later today (Thurs, Nov 14th) at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT. “2 Hands” follows the irresistible “It’s Ok I’m Ok” which earned the star her highest-charting debut on the Billboard Hot 100 and has garnered over 165 million global streams to date.

Next year, Tate will embark on her world Miss Possessive Tour spanning 50 dates throughout South America, Europe, UK, and North America. Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off on March 18th in Mexico City at Pepsi Centre, with shows in São Paulo, London, Amsterdam, Prague, New York, Nashville, and many more before wrapping up in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum on September 26th. Benee will be joining as support on all Europe and UK dates while Zara Larsson will join Tate across all US and Canada dates.

Presales start on Tuesday, November 19th ahead of the general sale on Wednesday, November 20th for most markets.

The tour will also offer a VIP package and experience for fans to take their concert experience to the next level. The package includes premium tickets, access to the pre-show soundcheck + Q&A, VIP merch item, early entry & more.
