The trek includes new stops throughout the UK and North America
Global pop sensation Tate McRae adds 23 dates on her highly anticipated Miss Possessive Tour. Produced by Live Nation and sponsored by Neutrogena, the massive global tour now includes new dates across the UK and North America.
The 80-date worldwide tour will begin next month with a series of headline shows and festival performances across South America in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Brazil before heading to Europe in May. Tate will perform in Portugal, Spain, Ireland, France and more before wrapping the Europe/UK leg with new shows added in Nottingham, London, and Manchester this June. Special guest Benee will join for the added UK dates and all other Europe and UK shows.
The run of new dates in North America will begin Friday, October 3rd in Seattle at Climate Pledge Arena and will include stops in new cities including Salt Lake City, Houston, Omaha, Raleigh, Palm Springs, and more. Tate will also be revisiting sold-out cities from earlier in the North America run, with second and third shows added in cities like Chicago, Boston, Detroit, New York, and Los Angeles. Special guest Alessi Rose will join Tate on all new North America dates.
Tickets for the new shows will first be available with an AMEX presale beginning Tuesday, February 25th. The general on-sale will start Thursday, February 27th at 11 am local time.
The announcement comes ahead of the release of her third studio album So Close To What, which comes out on Friday, February 21st via RCA Records. The project represents the insurmountable moments in life, where the road ahead at times can feel endless and the destination non-existent. It’s an introspective exploration of self-discovery, love, and nostalgia. The album and its songs navigate the raw emotions of healing an old heart and the hesitations that come with falling in love again, the beautiful and sometimes harsh realities of what it means to be a woman and embracing a newfound confidence. Wrapped in irresistible pop production and unfiltered lyricism, So Close To What is written and produced with hitmakers Ryan Tedder, Grant Boutin, Amy Allen, Julia Michaels, and more.
On Thursday, February 20th at the Kia Forum parking lot in Los Angeles, McRae will celebrate the album’s release with by giving fans the first opportunity to hear McRae perform songs from the new album. The event will also host a variety of activations including food trucks, photo installations, exclusive event merchandise and more!
