Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts add more guests

Two shows to be held this fall

Foo Fighters have announced the next wave of guests who will be performing at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts in London and Los Angeles this September.

London sees the addition of Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones, Alain Johannes, Nandi Bushell, Nile Rodgers, Krist Novoselic, Greg Kurstin and a special appearance by Chris Rock while Los Angeles adds Jones, Johannes, Novoselic, Kurstin, P!NK, LeAnn Rimes, and Nancy Wilson to the bill.

They follow the announcement of Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor, Rush’s Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, Wolfgang Van Halen, The Police’s Stewart Copeland, Jane’s Addiction’s Chris Chaney, Mark Ronson, Joshua Homme, drummer Omar Hakim with an appearance by Hawkins’ cover band Chevy Metal performing at both events. Miley Cyrus, Joan Jett, Alanis Morissette, Gene Simmons, Nikki Sixx, Chad Smith, Luke Spiller, Jon Theodore, Brad Wilk, Pat Wilson and others will also appear in Los Angeles.

Additional guests are to be announced.

The two all-star global events in celebration of Hawkins’ memory and his legacy as a global rock icon will take place September 3rd at London’s Wembley Stadium and September 27th at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

Tickets for both shows are on sale June 17th at 9 am local time via Ticketmaster.

The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts will benefit charities in both the UK and the US chosen by the Hawkins family. Beneficiaries and further details will be announced shortly.
