Ted Nugent announces Sonic Baptizm tour; talks Donald Trump

Ted Nugent has announced that he is embarking on the Sonic Baptizm tour this summer. The nine date tour kicks off July 1st in Phoenix and wraps August 27th in Fremont, Ohio. Pasenda, Beverly Hills, San Juan Capistrano and Agoura Hills, CA are all on the bill as well.

Tickets and exclusive TedNugent.com Dangerzone VIP Packages for shows in Pasadena, Beverly Hills, San Juan Capistrano, Agoura Hills and Albert Lea are on sale now. The Dangerzone VIP Packages include a ticket to the show, a pre-show meet and greet with Nugent, a photo of the Nuge for autographing, a VIP laminate and more! A Dangerzone VIP Package Upgrade option is also available for fans who have already purchased tickets to a show.

Nugent’s last tour in 2014 was in support of his ShutUp&Jam album, his first album in eight years. During that tour, Nugent’s open political views caused a backlash, forcing a couple of shows to be canceled, due to complaints of racism.

Nugent is one of the nation’s most outspoken proponent of America’s first and second Amendment rights, conducting thousands of pro-gun, pro-freedom, pro-America interviews in major media worldwide. Recently, he told The Hollywood Reporter that he supports Republican Donald Trump’s campaign for president.

“He represents a glowing middle finger to the embarrassing status-quo politics, and everyone I know truly loves a good, glowing middle finger aimed directly at the most deserving,” he says.

“He has also been the only one to excoriate the insane policy of denying our U.S. military hero warriors their Second Amendment rights on military bases,” Nugent admits. “Listen closely to someone attempt to explain how the best-trained warriors in the world don’t qualify to be armed when they are willing to die for our right to do so. Welcome to Alfred E. Neuman’s Planet of the Cuckoo’s Nest.”

Nugent says he also supports Ted Cruz.
