Earlier this week, Noisey premiered The Drums’ self-directed video for their new single “Magic Mountain.” The single will grace the band’s third full-length album, Encyclopedia, out in the U.S. on September 23rd.
“It’s an aggressive track that’s sent the band down a path that’s a bit different than what most of their fans have come to expect-a sound that’s sharp and twisting and somehow both in and out of control,” Noisey says of “Magic Mountain,” adding, “They also dedicate the clip to Liz Taylor. It’s all pretty sweet.”
And the sweetness continues! The band will be headed out on tour soon. See when they’ll be in your neck of the woods via dates below.
