Hints posted around the country lead fans to believe an announcement is imminent
The Rolling Stones seem to have a big announcement set for Thursday, March 19th with all signs pointing to a new tour.
On Saturday (March 14th), the band posted a video montage of the group boarding their private plane and taking off and being greeted by fans on Facebook. The video also accompanies the text “#SatisfactionThursday” with a link to justakissaway.rocks where fans are encouraged to input their email address and zip code to “Get What You Need.”
The Sound in Los Angeles reports that billboards containing messages such as “You Get What You Need Thursday” and “Satisfaction Thursday” have gone up around the country in cities like Minneapolis, Orlando, Columbus, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Detroit, where it’s presumed the tour will make stops.
It’s also rumored that the trek will start May 24th in Petco Park in San Diego with an L.A. stop at the Hollywood Bowl.
We will post more details when it becomes available.
