The Weeknd drops his latest video โDriveโ directed by revered filmmaker Trey Edward Shultz off his latest album Hurry Up Tomorrow ahead of the upcoming film of the same name coming May 16th.
With Hurry Up Tomorrow, The Weeknd presents the culmination of his trilogy of studio albums, following 2020’s After Hours and 2022’s Dawn FM. This album represents the creative apex of the project, serving as the third and final chapter crafted with existential and self-referential themes as seen with the latest visionary teasers that have set fans ablaze with anticipation for this concluding installment.
Lionsgate will release the film Hurry Up Tomorrow, directed by Trey Edward Shultz and starring Abel Tesfaye, Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan, with original music by The Weeknd and Daniel Lopatin. The film was produced by Manic Phaseโs Abel Tesfaye, Reza Fahim along with Kevin Turen and Harrison Kreiss.
The Weeknd will embark on a new stadium tour across North America this year featuring chart-topping, multi-platinum and genre-defying Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti and special guest Mike Dean. Produced by Live Nation, The Weeknd: After Hours Til Dawn 2025 Tour will span over 43 dates, feature never-before-seen production, and include an electrifying setlist with tracks from Hurry Up Tomorrow, After Hours, Dawn FM-plus all the hits from his extensive catalog. Hublot, the Swiss luxury watchmaker, will be the official partner of the tour. Nespresso and Cash App will also be sponsors on the After Hours Til Dawn 2025 dates.
As part of the After Hours Til Dawn 2025 Tour, The Weeknd will partner with Global Citizen to help drive positive change. One dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to support children from vulnerable communities globally. Fans will also be able to earn one pair of free tickets to each tour date by taking action to end extreme poverty with Global Citizen.
